According to Sports Illustrated's Ross Dellenger and Pat Forde, the NCAA has handed down an infraction ruling to Miami after the twins and their family had dinner at the home of program booster John Ruiz.

The twins were not punished in the ruling, but Miami head coach Katie Meier was suspended for the first 3 games of the season.

Miami was placed on a one-year probation, received a $5,000 fine and a reduction in official visits and recruiting days.

One fan called the NCAA "toothless" for choosing to go after a women's basketball program, saying that there were more violations to be found within major college football programs.

"I had Miami on my board, who'd get in trouble first, but I didn't forecast women's basketball," said another fan.

One fan was more interested in what was on the dinner menu that night. "Wonder if they had hamburgers," the fan asked.

Despite the penalties handed down to the program, things are going pretty well for the Cavinder twins. The two are millionaires through their NIL deals and have over 4 million followers on TikTok.
