Craig Stammen, a longtime reliever for the Washington Nationals and San Diego Padres, is unlikely to pitch again following his latest arm injury.

The longtime relief pitcher suffered a torn capsule in his throwing shoulder and strained his sub scapula on Friday.

“Without saying that I’m done,” Stammen said Sunday morning, “it’s highly unlikely that I pitch again.”
