According to SI's Pat Forde and Ross Dellenger, the NCAA sanctioned Miami after the sisters dined at Miami booster John Ruiz's home.

A violation of NCAA policies, that dinner led to a three-game suspension for head coach Katie Meier and a handful of other sanctions.

It took a few more hours, but Haley Cavinder gave her thoughts as well. "Dear NCAA, scare that female athletes have value?" she questioned.

Dellenger revealed the other punishments Miami received as well: One-year probation, which could result in more severe sanctions if the program violates rules during that time.
