Educational Qualification of Junior Engineer-

There are two options for graduation to become a Junior Engineer-

  • First Option — After 10th, you can get diploma or diploma in polytechnic engineering from any trade.
  • Second Option — After 10+2 for engineering degree can take admission in engineering college.

  • There is also an option to get an engineering degree – Diploma engineers can also complete their engineering studies through AMIE (Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers).
  • AMIE – Formal engineering education program recognized as equivalent to an engineering degree by the government for Union Public Service Commission, State Governments and Public/Private Sector Organizations.

  • To pursue graduation in engineering course, one must have passed 12th class in non-medical stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects with at least 60% marks in PCM from a reputed institute.
  • Candidates can appear for entrance exams conducted by AIEEE and independent institutions and central government organizations from various state universities. Candidate can get admission in the college for 4 years degree program according to their merit in the entrance test.
